MIIB Business Technologies Scoops the Tender

MIIB Business Technologies scooped the tender to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the South African Rail Commuter Corporation (SARCC)’s Business Operations. The implementation of the ERP Software will cover Procurement, Finance and Human Resources Functions (Payroll included).

"We are excited about the opportunity to assist SARCC achieve efficiencies and realise return on investment. There is a tendency to think that people and technology or systems are assets. The hard facts are that people move on (retire, resign, etc) and technology develops so quickly that it sometimes becomes difficult for organisations to keep up. Therefore, an organisation’s only real asset is its business policies and processes, and it is essential to have them mapped out and defined in a proper manner in order to facilitate on-going improvement and re-engineering," Jos Badimo, the Managing Director of MIIB commented.

The project, which includes the Software license and QA to be sourced from the OEM-SAP, will run over a period of nine (9) months. Badimo spoke of their approach as one that is process-based

with the aim to incorporate People, Processes and Technology. "Our consultants find the optimal combination of these components and ensure that the final solution is applicable and relevant in the specific environment," Badimo added.

"We are confident in our ability to deliver exceptional business value to the SARCC as we have extensive knowledge in Professional Services; linking Business Management Processes to Financial and Human Resource implications," Badimo concluded.
